Job description: HVAC Service Technician at SCR Northern (Mid State)
As an HVAC Service Technician at SCR Northern (Mid State), you will be an essential part of our team, working to keep our clients' equipment operating efficiently and effectively. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Baxter, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment, as well as helping to install new equipment as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipment and systems.
- Install and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Communicate with clients to explain service recommendations and answer any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with other members of the SCR Northern (Mid State) team to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- HVAC certification and EPA certification are preferred but not required.
