Role Description

The Corporate Banking Analyst will join our Corporate Banking team at Zions Bank Head Office in downtown Salt Lake City. The role involves managing relationships with corporate banking customers, handling financial data, analyzing financial statements, and facilitating the credit process while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, provided with hands-on training, and offered significant growth potential within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing, interpreting, investigating, gathering, and presenting financial data to determine clients’ credit worthiness
  • Review and initiate creation of loan documents for legal and structural considerations
  • Make calls on clients to better underwrite credits and consult with relationship managers
  • Assist with basic and mid-sized loans, provide customer service on behalf of loan officers/relationship managers, and serve as backup relationship manager
  • Assist with collection efforts, resolution of customer problems, and disbursement of funds

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree and some experience in loan processes, credit analysis, or related fields. Basic knowledge of credit analysis and software, along with effective communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential.
