Job Description: HVAC Installer
S&S Heating, Cooling & Sheet Metal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team. As a trusted service provider in Ohio since 1972, we are committed to providing top-notch quality services to our clients. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Your responsibilities, depending on the project, may include but are not limited to the following:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and building plans
- Measuring and cutting ductwork using various tools and materials
- Installing and connecting HVAC components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and ductwork
- Testing and balancing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Providing customers with information on the proper use and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Adhering to building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of two years of experience working as an HVAC Installer with a certified HVAC technical school degree or equivalent experience. It's important that you have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience working with HVAC equipment and tools
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong customer service skills
