Messiah Lifeways At Messiah Village, a respected and vibrant senior living community in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in our dining experience for both residents and guests. Your friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills will ensure that every interaction is positive and memorable. Whether you are assisting with food and beverage orders, processing payments with accuracy, or ensuring a clean and inviting dining area, your contributions will directly impact the overall satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and warmly welcome residents and guests while assisting with seating arrangements
- Effectively communicate menu options and accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Prepare and deliver orders promptly with attention to detail
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including table setup and clearing
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the highest quality of food and service
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments
- Basic math skills, including the ability to handle cash transactions
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required
