Technical Founder & Product Manager

The Role

Full stack developer for an early-stage company
You’ll work closely with the founding team in defining the product roadmap and influencing the business strategy
Create new features and maintain existing features for our growing web and mobile platforms
Play an essential role in developing experiences for families searching for a dog from great breeders

About you

You are highly motivated and stay up to date on the latest technologies
You strive for excellence and hold high standards for yourself and others
You understand speed is key in an early startup and you don’t hesitate to accelerate learnings, designs, and overall output.
You have a good, critical eye for details and are obsessed with every pixel, animation, and creating a great UX/UI
You understand design drives customer behavior and customer behavior drives business metrics
You have published (several) mobile apps on Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store.
You have a breadth of mobile app development expertise across the different stages of the product

Requirements

2+ years of full-time mobile development experience (iOS, Android, or both)
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong knowledge and experience with React Native

Great to have

You have experience using different backend services (Parse, Firebase, Realm platform, Node). We’re currently using Firebase Cloud Firestore.
You’re comfortable writing Firebase Cloud Functions in TypeScript
Strong experience with UX/UI design
