Job Description

Marquis Wilsonville Post Acute Rehab is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Evening Prep Cook to join our dedicated culinary team. As an Evening Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our kitchen during evening meal preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing high-quality meals according to the planned menu and dietary requirements
• Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner, maintaining proper food temperature and presentation
• Follow established recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency and adherence to nutritional guidelines
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils, following safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor and record food temperatures for quality control purposes
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and informing the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies
• Adhere to all safety and sanitary procedures

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
