Saint Anne Home is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Director of Accounting Services. This key position is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the organization's accounting functions.

Responsibilities

The Director of Accounting Services is primarily responsible for:

• Leading the accounting team in the maintenance and reconciliations of financial records
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Managing the organization's cash flow and investments
• Supervising accounts payable and receivable processes
• Overseeing payroll and benefits administration
• Collaborating with other departments to provide financial guidance and support

The successful candidate will also play a key role in driving process improvements, implementing effective internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information
• Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
