Job Title: Asphalt Plant Operator
Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Plant Operator to manage and operate our asphalt plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining asphalt plants. This individual will be operating skid steers on occasion and will also be required to do other labor work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor asphalt plant equipment, including preheaters, oxidizers, tanks, and control systems.
- Ensure the production of high-quality asphalt mixtures according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including stick welding tasks.
- Collaborate with the quality control department to inspect each batch of asphalt produced.
- Manage inventory and order materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator or similar role.
- Knowledge of stick welding techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in welding are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, often outdoors.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
Working indoors and outdoors in a dirty environment. Shift is 5:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to work between those hours up to 55 hours minimum per week.
