Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Lundy Heating & Cooling / Jmac Equipment is a reputable company located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We are seeking a highly competent and dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Service Technician at Lundy Heating & Cooling / Jmac Equipment, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial and residential buildings. You will also perform routine maintenance on HVAC units to ensure that they are functioning efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Install new HVAC systems and components, including ductwork and piping
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, including replacing filters, cleaning coils, and checking refrigerant levels
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain the scope of work and provide recommendations
• Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate or Associate's degree in HVAC technology or related field preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including refrigeration and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
