CNA North Carolina State Veterans Home Salisbury Part Time

We are currently hiring for the position of CNA at our Salisbury location. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on care to our veteran residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor resident's health, recording and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist with transferring and positioning residents as needed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
• Follow infection control and safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement care plans.

Requirements:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of North Carolina.
• Previous experience working as a CNA is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
