Job Description

New Increased Rates!! Loretto Health & Rehabilitation Center (700 E. Brighton Ave, Syracuse, NY 13205) is currently seeking Full Time and Part Time LPNs to join our team! This location is comprised of 2 buildings; The Cunningham long-term care building, a 13-floor, 487-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility, and The Fahey Rehab building, a 96-bed short-term residential rehabilitation program - the largest in Central New York! Our Fahey building offers a specialized Restorative Care Unit, staffed with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. We offer specialized training and mentorship, new competitive wages, as well as flexible scheduling for certain positions. Whether you are a seasoned nurse or recent graduate we want to talk with you about joining our team! New LPNs can make $31.62/hour and experienced LPNs $32.64/hour. Shift differentials are available for Evening and Night shifts. We also pay overtime if you work over an 8-hour shift, with the potential of earning up to $54/hour working overtime! RCU LPN - Telemetry Step-Down Unit
The RCU Licensed Practical Nurse manages and provides direct nursing care to residents. Coordinates nursing care delivery to ensure resident’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, policies and procedures, and regulations. The RCU Care Licensed Practical Nurse manages tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed, or otherwise legally authorized physician.

Float LPN (Additional 13% on top of hourly rate) - LTC and Rehab
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day activities performed by other members of the nursing team. The LPN coordinates nursing care delivery to ensure resident’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, policies and procedures, and regulations. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed, or otherwise legally authorized physician or dentist (education law, article 139, nursing, section 6902).

Assistant Nurse Manager, LPN
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager, LPN, evaluates, plans, implements and monitors the effectiveness of nursing care delivered to the patients using best practice nursing standards. The Assistant Nurse Manager, LPN uses management and administrative skills to accomplish corporate, department and facility goals. Additionally, the Assistant Nurse Manager executes and adheres to established policies and procedures, as well as systemic clinical changes.

Nursing Supervisor LPN
The Nursing Supervisor LPN – Evening & Night maintains quality clinical care for residents/clients through direct supervision of nursing staff. Communicates modifications to policy and procedures and oversees compliance, serving as a resource to clinical staff. Manages the daily activities of the clinical staff.

Qualifications

Active LPN license in NYS
Excellent Communication skills
Ability to work under supervision, knows limits of job description and learn skills as required

Pay Range $31 - $40 / hour
