Floor Tile Setter

PeopleReady Skilled Division is looking for a Floor Tile Setter. The candidate must have at least 5 years of commercial tile setting experience. The is a journeymen position and the ideal candidate must be able to work on their own. The experienced individual must have knowledge in setting, cutting, fitting tile around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools. Must be able to read blueprints. Candidates must have extensive knowledge in preparing, measuring, marking surfaces, mixing, and applying adhesive. Must have some of their own tools and be able to pass a criminal background. Learn more at https://skilled.peopleready.com/referral/.  Responsibilities: Clean and prepare work areas for application Chip, scrape, grind high spots and ridges with power tools Mix ingredients to create compounds Will assist with unloading materials from truck to work areas Spread, level and finishing flooring material Smooth surfaces Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled. Clean surfaces and prepare them for tiling.  Qualifications: Must have at least 5 years of experience Concrete work a plus Pays attention to detail Great work ethics and attitude Work well with others or alone without supervision Experience with surface prep equipment including Blastrac and Diamond Grinding equipment. Material knowledge of Epoxies, Urethane Mortar, Trowel Downs. Valid Driver's License Completion of surface preparation according to provided manufacturer and supervisor specifications. Apply Paint / Coatings according to manufactures specs and supervisor directions.
