Community Life Assistant

We are currently seeking a Community Life Assistant to join our team. The Community Life Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents through the development and implementation of a wide range of social and recreational programs.


Responsibilities

The Community Life Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of diverse recreational activities and programs for residents.
  • Fostering a positive and engaging community atmosphere by encouraging resident participation.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community volunteers and local organizations to enhance program offerings.
  • Assisting in the creation of a monthly activity calendar and distributing it to residents and staff.
  • Documenting resident participation and program outcomes for reporting purposes.
  • Providing assistance during special events and outings.
  • Supporting and encouraging residents to maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build relationships with residents, staff, and volunteers.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an attention to detail.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop innovative and engaging programs.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as needed.
  • Prior experience in senior living or a related field is preferred.
