Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Martindale Mechanical, a leading HVAC services provider in Martindale, Texas, is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems perform optimally and effectively. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, and as a member of our team, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding those standards.
Key responsibilities of the HVAC Service Technician role include:
- Conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various HVAC systems, including but not limited to air handlers, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers
- Identifying and communicating issues and recommending solutions to clients
- Demonstrating thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and repair issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and reporting any incomplete or additional work to the customer
- Staying up-to-date with industry changes and innovations
Qualifications for this role include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship or technical school program
- Valid HVAC certification and license
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service or related field
- Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time, prioritize tasks, and work in a team environment
- Willingness to be available for after-hours on-call duty on a rotating schedule
