Job Title: Field Technician
Job Description
The position of a Catalyst Technician (Tech B) is responsible for day-to-day activities performed in client facilities, both in inert and non-inert confined space entry atmospheres. The role involves working toward project goals related to quality, productivity, and service. A Tech B will perform tasks to maximize the quality of the company while meeting client expectations and ensuring a safe working environment. All company business will be conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism throughout all interactions.
Hard Skills
Team member for all rescue operations
Work in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) confined space entry conditions
Operate and maintain all company-owned or rented vehicles
Maintain a clean environment and report unusual findings in vessels
Unload and load tubular vessels
Adhere to Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements
Load catalyst bed
Assist with cleaning and correct loading of equipment and trailers
Learn and use Life Support equipment
Operate retrieval devices and multi-gas portable monitors
Perform confined space entries (non-inert)
Installation of devices
Cleaning of refinery exhaust
Soft Skills
Maintain poise and focus under time constraints and adverse conditions
Support Supervisors by keeping work areas clear and free of obstructions
Attend and complete required training
Professionalism in business dealings
Pass required drug/alcohol test checks

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Long Beach, California.
Work Environment
Work in the field at different oil/gas refineries, assisting with the cleaning and reapplication of equipment within refinery. Very industrial environments with strict safety standards. Projects could be in Alaska, California, Washington state at various refineries.
