Product Planning and Pricing Intern Subaru of America, Inc.’s Internship Program provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain real-world experience related to their major. The Product Planning and Pricing internship is for students pursing a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Business Analytics, Business Management, Finance, or Marketing. Course of Study Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with major in Business Analytics, Business Management, Finance, or Marketing Term 1 year in length [37.5 hours per week during the summer; ~20-25 hours per week during school year] Internship to begin in May and end the following May Location – Subaru Headquarters in Camden, NJ $20 an hour (undergrad) Qualifications Juniors, Seniors planning to pursue a Master’s Degree, or students currently enrolled in a Master’s Program Must be an active student for the entire length of internship Previous internship or work experience preferred Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written) Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word,) Ability to work both independently and in a team environment (Remotely and Office setting) Must be able to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines Excellent time management and organization skills Detail-oriented, but able to see the whole picture Responsibilities Explore and monitor macro and micro trends as they pertain to the automotive industry Competitive vehicle reporting and analysis Subaru vehicle equipment and price analysis Develop and update pricing-related lists, communications, and supporting documents Special ad-hoc assignments to provide support with departmental and executive project requests Summary Subaru of America’s Product Management area is a fast-paced and exciting environment that provides an opportunity to experience business operations, product planning, and pricing on a national level. This position is responsible for providing insight into the U.S. market and competitive automotive landscape. This position will also be responsible for helping to collect, analyze, and report data related to the pricing and profitability of new vehicles.
