Work Schedule
Position Summary: The Office Assistant role provides the Disability Services and Testing Center with necessary staffing to support Westminster University students. The Office Assistant is responsible for answering calls, taking messages and greeting anyone who enters the Disability Services and Testing Center, the students also schedule tests, monitor testers, verify identification and troubleshoot student questions and concerns.

Primary Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities
Disability Services and Testing Center is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday (this may be extended to 6:00 PM). Hours can be flexible within this time period. Maintain confidentiality of all students, staff, and faculty who make contact with Disability Services & Testing Center. Provides personable support while answering phones, making appointments, taking accurate and complete messages, and greeting visitors, working with faculty, staff, and other office assistants. Assist with all aspects of testing procedures including but not limited to scheduling, forms, reminders, files, and delivery. Provides clerical support including but not limited to assigning note-takers for DS students, filing, maintenance of calendars, tracking of and/or process of forms, mailings/emailing, scanning, copying, ordering/creation of alternative format textbooks, etc. Conduct and summarize research for special projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch required. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds required.
