Job Description

THE POSITION

South Mountain Restoration Center (SMRC) is a Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Home Facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. With a mission to provide high-quality care and services to the residents, helping them to achieve their highest level of physical, emotional, and social well-being. QPCS is committed to utilize nurses willing to help create a environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an independent contractor with QPCS, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

Necessary Special Requirement - Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing; or possession of a non-renewable temporary practice permit issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

The Commonwealth requires completion of a medical examination and a drug screening test prior to orientation.

Legal Requirements:

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adults Protective Services Law: Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

You must provide complete and accurate information or you may be disqualified.
