Job Title: Harness Design Engineer For Immediate consideration please apply to this posting and email your resume to [email protected] Job Description The Harness Design Engineer lays out the designs where the avionics, wiring, and harnessing are routed through the aircraft and integrated. Responsibilities include electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS), cable and wire design, and electrical integration design. Collaborate with electrical and structural engineers to develop innovative solutions. Develop and release engineering definitions using CAD packages such as Catia 3dx, 3Dexperience, Mentor Graphics, Altium, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Enovia, Capital Logic Designer, and Capital Harness Systems (CHS). Conduct design reviews for program leadership, select materials and components for compatibility, and provide engineering support for manufacturing. Additionally, handle non-conformance dispositions and issue engineering drawing redlines. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Lake Forest, California. Work Environment The company develops and manufactures fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, including manned and unmanned tiltrotors. Actively developing its Optimum Speed Tilt-Rotor (OSTR) and other technologies for transport applications. The company has a small team of about 48-50 people, fostering a laid-back, family-like environment. While hours may increase as projects near deadlines, the company maintains a positive work environment and avoids becoming too hectic. Team members wear multiple hats and collaborate heavily.
