Web Developer w/ IT Support

Description Robert Half has a brand new opening for a Web Developer/IT Support with a client in Sarasota, FL. This is an ongoing contract (with a potential permanent rollover), full-time hours, on-site in Sarasota (34243). Compensation ranging $42-52/hour depending on experience. Top Skill Sets Looking For: Jr-Mid Level Experience with PHP (WordPress) and JavaScript – they will be helping manage 4 websites Experience managing internal IT issues (i.e. printers/forgotten passwords/computer issues/Adobe PDFs etc.) Experience writing SQL queries Summary: This position will provide first response support to Company employees. In addition, this role will work directly with the Director of IT on projects related to application development, IT implementation, & other department projects as required. This role will interface with all departments within the Company. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, maintain, and provide technical support on all Company technology. This includes VoIP, printers, conference equipment, and overall computer systems, both software and hardware. Lead or assist in hosting technical education sessions provided to Company employees by the IT department. These sessions are aimed at developing & advancing the Company’s technical skillset. Responsible for minimizing downtime of all computer and technology systems at the Company. Provide technical assistance outside of normal office hours. Train hardware/software policies and procedures for computer systems operations. Maintain inventory of technology hardware/software and other technology equipment. Work with the Director of Information Technology to develop technology solutions to improve output, improve efficiencies and improve functionality. Create and maintain Excel files, budget and projection files and uploads/downloads, and other ad hoc reports. Exhibit understanding of SOP’s related to this job description. Time management and priority setting skills Team player with attention to detail Ability to multi-task & communicate effectively Communicate effectively Professional interpersonal skills Technical: 5+ years providing technical support in a Windows environment. Experience with enterprise networks including support of VPN clients and use of RMM. Ability to troubleshoot Office 365 or Microsoft Office application issues. Read & edit complex Excel formulas. Object-oriented programming experience required. Preferably JavaScript or PHP (Wordpress). Writing SQL queries.
