Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Central Iowa Mechanical
Central Iowa Mechanical (CIM) is currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa.
As an HVAC Service Technician at CIM, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients by installing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems. You will work in both residential and commercial settings in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring client satisfaction with every job completed.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install new HVAC equipment and systems as directed by project managers or clients
-Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on existing HVAC systems
-Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions or breakdowns
-Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service requests and work orders
-Communicate frequently with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are being met
Requirements:
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Effective communication and customer service skills
