Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Caregiver to join our team at Lorien Health Systems - Columbia. As a Private Duty Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to our residents in accordance with their individual needs and preferences.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing medication reminders and assistance with medication management
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in resident's health or behavior
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and conversation
• Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents

Qualifications

To be considered for the position of Private Duty Caregiver, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
