Job Title: Laminator Operator $25/hr
Job Description
Summary: This position is responsible for operating and setting up the lamination machine according to production guidelines. Duties include setting the feed speed, pressure, and temperature for optimum production rate and quality standards.
Primary Duties:
Transports and loads/unloads film and adhesive rolls, film, and rollers to and from the machine
Ensures adhesive is covering the appropriate place on the film
Adjusts tension as needed to prevent wrinkles in the film
Monitors the machine while running to ensure rolls do not run out of film
Maintains Lamination Manifest, Quality Sheet, Back-web Roll Footage Log, and Computer log
Takes measurements of film for logs
Performs Coat Weight Checks for quality
Working Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am Fri-Sun

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lenexa, Kansas.
Work Environment
Inks and solvents create strong odor in the plant. Frequent standing and walking during working hours. Frequent sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (8+ hours/day). Ability to repeatedly load/unload film rolls and rollers of up to 100 pounds. Overtime may be required.
