Job Description

As an HR Generalist at Transitions Healthcare Autumn Grove Care Center, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources function of our facility. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures, as well as maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed.
• Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Coordinate employee leave of absence, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Maintain HR records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations and development plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in HR.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Previous experience in human resources, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
