Brinton Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Glen Mills, PA is seeking to hire a part-time Front Desk Receptionist / Activities Assistant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, layout, and distribution of the monthly activity calendar
• Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents
• Create decorations, set up necessary equipment, create various crafts, and award prizes
• Supervise and lead activities as necessary
• Attend and contribute to resident Care Plan Meetings
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs and facility committees/programs
• Provide excellence in customer service when answering incoming calls and directing to appropriate personnel
• Page designated person when the need requires
• Receive and channel all messages in a responsible manner
• Greet visitors and vendors
• Alert Office Supervisor if problems arise
• Send drivers to pick up residents from doctor appointments
• Perform other duties as assigned by Office Supervisor, as needed

Job Requirements:

• Previous reception and/or recreation experience is highly preferred
• Experience working in recreation
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Possess a passion for working with and having impactful interaction with seniors
• Are creative, compassionate, patient, and willing to go the extra mile
• Have effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Have experience in long-term care or physical rehabilitative setting
• Possess a positive attitude
• Treat each resident with care, compassion, dignity, and respect

• Help residents maintain their highest level of functioning by presenting appropriate activity programs according to the resident’s physical capacity, cognitive ability, and interest
