Position Overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Tech (CNA-M) is responsible for dispensing resident's medications, administering prescribed treatments, and maintaining medication documentation and control. They demonstrate an understanding of safety procedures and precautions regarding the resident, identify any side effects or problems, and report refusals to the Charge Nurse. Additionally, they maintain thorough documents and participate in medication audits.

Experience and Skills Required
Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry, with a Med Tech designation
Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents, and their families
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in the execution of job duties, including identifying matters that are confidential in nature and keeping them confidential
Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Compensation
The pay for this position ranges from $18.08 to $20.59 per hour, depending on experience.
