The Processing Operator position is responsible for operating process related equipment and plant process control systems in a safe environmentally responsible manner. It takes teamwork for a facility to run smoothly, so you can expect to work weekends and holidays with the rest of the team. Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):\ * Responsible for overseeing extruder, mixing, ingredients or roll and oven processes\ * Responsible for set ups and maintain proper adjustments of the machinery and equipment, which could include clearing jams and performing quality checks\ * Responsible for overseeing quality and area upkeep\ * Monitors product flow, delivery and reject systems\ * Ensures line is running efficiently and prepared for schedule runs\ * Responsible for area housekeeping, weekly cleaning processes and sanitation functions\ * Work with other team members to ensure objectives are being met, including aiding other areas within department as needed\ * Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner, including maintaining work logs and data collection\ * Understand unique qualities of the product and specific process for department\ * Input data into company software\ * Additional responsibilities may be assigned Qualifications\ To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
