This job was posted by https://okjobmatch.com : For more information, please see: https://okjobmatch.com/jobs/3181519 Mortgage Portfolio & Investor Servicing Specialist The Mortgage Portfolio and Investor Servicing Specialist is responsible for maintaining and monitoring portfolio mortgage loans from closing through the expiration of the regulatory retention period. This role also assists the AVP of Mortgage Servicing in overseeing the departments operations. The Specialist ensures high-quality service delivery to members, timely completion of tasks, and adherence to all applicable policies and procedures, including managing delinquent accounts, collection activities, and all aspects of Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) loans. 1) Regular attendance at the worksite is required to perform all job functions effectively. 2) Perform daily mortgage loan funding and general ledger account balancing to ensure accurate financial records. 3) Conduct investor balancing, reconciling, and servicing functions as needed, ensuring compliance with investor requirements. 4) Locate, notify, and contact members with delinquent Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) accounts by mail, telephone, or personal visits to solicit payment. 5) Record information about the financial status of members and the status of collection efforts specifically related to FNMA and FHLB loans. 6) Coordinates investor loan foreclosures with WEOKIEs Member Payment Solutions Department 7) Oversee modifications on FNMA and FHLB loans. 8) Processes mortgage insurance claims and foreclosures IDENTIFYING INFORMATION BASIC FUNCTION MAJOR ACTIVITIES 9) Input data for closed loans into the data processing system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 10) Organize and upload closed loan file documents, maintaining thorough and accessible records. 11) Monitor and gather items needed to complete loan files, ensuring all documentation is present and accurate. 12) Maintain and monitor escrow accounts, perform escrow analysis, and ensure timely payment of premiums for real estate taxes, mortgage insurance, hazard insurance, flood insurance, and other escrow items. 13) Prepare mortgage release documents, subordination agreements, and other necessary legal documents as required. 14) Process mortgage credit disputes and loan modifications as needed, ensuring all changes are properly documented and compliant. 15) Stay informed of new servicing functions required by regulations and incorporate them into daily operations as needed. 16) Participate in regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations to continuously improve skills and performance. 17) Assists members over the phone and in the office regarding the servicing of their mortgage loan. 18) Provides friendly, high quality and timely service to members. 19) Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Mortgage Services department. 1) Provide superior levels of service and attention to credit union members and mortgage department staff, addressing their needs and resolving issues effectively. 2) Ensure activities, reports, training, and projects are completed in a timely and detail-oriented manner. 3) Conduct activities efficiently and generally error-free, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. 4) Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures to limit losses, errors, and risks.
