As the Community Living Programming and Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the community living experience for our residents.

Your Responsibilities

As the Community Living Programming and Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, planning, and implementing a variety of engaging programs and activities for our residents, ensuring there is something for everyone's interests and needs.
• Coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of our community facilities, including scheduling activities, managing resources, and ensuring the spaces are safe and well-maintained.
• Collaborating with community partners, local organizations, and volunteers to organize special events and outings that broaden the residents' experiences and foster a sense of community.
• Conducting regular assessments and evaluations of program effectiveness, soliciting feedback from residents, and making improvements to continuously enhance the quality of our offerings.
• Providing excellent customer service to our residents, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A bachelor's degree in recreation, gerontology, social work, or a related field.
• Previous experience in program development and coordination, particularly in the senior living or long-term care industry.
• An understanding of the unique needs and preferences of older adults, and a genuine passion for improving their quality of life.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively engage with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
