Job Overview

Blue Zoo is an interactive aquarium in Rogers focused on providing families and individuals a fun and educational experience! Our guests can touch and feed stingrays, birds, and reptiles, see sharks, clownfish, angelfish, enjoy play equipment, and water play tables! Not only can guests enjoy the animals but we also host events where meeting Mermaids, Pirates and attending dive shows are all part of the fun.

Job Responsibilities

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 5 years experience with reptiles a must!!
Must be able to lift 50lbs up to several times a day.
The ideal candidate needs to have a knowledge of reptiles, bugs and birds as well as a knowledge of how to set up and maintain exhibits. That includes acquiring animals, lighting, heat sources, foggers, etc. doing research on the animals to provide proper care and feeding habits.
Must feel comfortable interacting and handling the animals including but not limited to reptiles, snakes, and bugs.
Must be able to provide knowledgeable facts about animals to customers.
Will also be responsible to help other Husbandry team members with tasks including but not limited to cleaning filters and helping prepare food.
