Job Description

As a Housekeeper at Calhoun Nursing Home, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the facility
• Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop floors, and empty trash
• Ensure all surfaces and objects are clean and free from hazards
• Restock supplies and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Follow established safety procedures and infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a housekeeper or janitor preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time management and organizational skills
