Position Overview

We are currently seeking Baylor Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. As a Baylor CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. You will work closely with our nursing team to provide hands-on care and assistance to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment
• Ensure resident safety and comfort at all times
• Document resident care activities and observations accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Participate in educational programs and trainings to maintain and enhance your skills
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Baylor Certification as a Nursing Assistant
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Prior experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Excellent observation and documentation abilities
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and transfer residents
