Scottdale Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Rehab Nursing Tech I. As a Rehab Nursing Tech I, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Responsibilities:
As a Rehab Nursing Tech I, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Helping residents with mobility and transferring, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff
- Assisting in the implementation of individualized care plans
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
