Job Overview:
As our HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our clients' heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You should be able to diagnose problems, provide effective solutions and perform repairs in a timely manner. The ideal candidate for this role should be customer service-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair of HVAC systems
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and offer solutions to clients
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems such as air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps
- Perform regular inspections and testing of systems to ensure they are operating efficiently
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with clients on service and repair needs
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in the HVAC field
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of a training program in HVAC repair and maintenance
- At least 2-3 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Knowledge of HVAC safety protocols and regulations
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
