Communication Specialist

Job Description

Utah State University is looking for an experienced and creative Communication Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing communications, marketing, and public relations services for the university. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, a keen understanding of the media landscape, and experience developing effective strategies to reach target audiences. We are looking for someone who is professional, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is passionate about their work.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in communication, public relations, and/or marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with media outlets
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms
