Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Colair Inc is a respected and highly successful accounting services provider. We work with small and medium businesses in Rio Grande City, Texas. Currently, we're seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As our HVAC Service Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients are comfortable and safe in their commercial or residential properties. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and high-quality repairs, installations, and maintenance to our clients' HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
-Perform thorough inspections of HVAC systems and identify any issues or potential problems
-Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems and replace faulty or worn parts
-Install new HVAC systems and ensure they're working correctly
-Diagnose electrical and mechanical HVAC system malfunctions and take the necessary corrective actions to fix them
-Communicate with clients to provide updates, explain HVAC system issues, and make recommendations for repairs or replacement
-Complete and maintain accurate work orders, customer records, and other necessary documentation
-Collaborate with team members and provide training and support to other technicians
Requirements:
-2+ years of experience in HVAC service technician role
-Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various HVAC systems
-Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
-Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills
-Flexible availability to work on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
-High school diploma or equivalent
