Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at HOLLOWAY HEATING
HOLLOWAY HEATING is a fast-growing HVAC company based in Mount Vernon Illinois. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring that they operate efficiently and safely. You will work with a variety of equipment, including forced air furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols
- Performing regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and changing filters, checking tool calibration, and identifying potential issues before they turn into major problems
- Installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment according to manufacturer instructions, and local codes and regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service by consulting with clients and communicating clearly and professionally regarding their HVAC needs
- Keeping track of service appointments and completing paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Staying up to date on industry trends and new developments in technology
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA Universal Certification
- At least 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and in a team environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
