Certified Nursing Assistant 2nd shift

Job Description:

Pruitthealth - Lilburn is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the 2nd shift. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, providing hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse
• Ensure residents' comfort by assisting with positioning, transfers, and ambulation
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and documentation of intake
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Perform basic nursing procedures, including wound care and catheter care
• Document care provided and any observations or changes in residents' conditions
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• Ability to work well in a team environment
