Nutrition Server/Dietary Aide

Location: Brentwood, TN 37027

Somerfield Health Center, a 5-star, 66-bed skilled nursing facility with 11 assisted living suites, is currently hiring hospitality-minded Dietary Aides/Food & Nutrition Servers to join our team at The Heritage at Brentwood. As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals, salads, and desserts to our health center residents. We value individuals from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about providing excellent services to our senior residents.

Job Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Food Services Manager and Registered Dietician, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals, salads, and desserts in the health center
• Setting up and breaking down tables in health center dining rooms after meals
• Transporting foods and supplies to and from the health center
• Maintaining station equipment and work area in a safe and sanitary condition
• Working cooperatively with other food and beverage and nursing staff members to provide care and services to senior residents

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Previous experience working in food and nutrition operations in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Full vaccination for COVID-19 or an approved exemption
