The Rehab Aide is an essential role within the center. The Rehab Aide is responsible for assisting the rehabilitative services staff by transporting residents to and from therapy, by performing resident care related Activities under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist/Speech- Language Pathologist, by keeping the work area clean and well supplied and by performing clerical duties.

Apex Rehabilitation Solutions is a full service provider of rehabilitation therapy and management services in skilled, long-term, outpatient, and in-home care environments. Highly skilled and experienced physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapists work together to ensure that patients return to the highest possible level of function.

Transport residents as scheduled to and from treatment area as indicated.
Prepares residents for treatment.
Performs resident related activities as directed by the PT/OT/SLP keeping with the standards of practice and state guidelines.
Assist with routine record keeping.
Maintain cleanliness and neatness of treatment area following infection control guidelines.
Maintaining constant alertness for residents’ safety.

Because of the nature of Apex’s multidisciplinary approach, all candidates must be able to thrive in team environments. Experience working with a geriatric population is preferred but not required. High school graduate or equivalent is required. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is also required. Adequate physical strength and manual dexterity is needed in order to transfer and transport residents.
