Deloitte's NextGen Therapies Consulting Practice is dedicated to helping biopharmaceutical companies achieve one of the most ambitious goals of the 21st century curing cancer. Our clients are leaders in the development of cell and gene therapies, changing the paradigm of cancer, rare disease, and now autoimmune and solid tumor treatment. You will be working with leaders and peers to drive towards our common goal of bringing the best of Deloitte to help our clients launch and scale innovative therapies and products that will benefit patients and humankind.
We work with our clients to build global knowledge of customer and stakeholder needs, develop industry-leading clinical and commercial business processes, and design and implement the digital ecosystems which enable these groundbreaking therapies. Our practice is currently seeking Senior Consultants to help us shape the direction of our practice capabilities and deliver outstanding project results. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Cell & Gene Therapy business, technology, and operations and a desire to leverage their strong communication and interpersonal skills to help bring these life-saving treatments to patients.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant you will lead a workstream as part of broader project helping cell and gene therapy manufacturers to identify and resolve critical business and operational challenges, working across business functions to support the evolution of their products from clinical development through commercial launch and beyond.
Illustrative activities include:
Supporting our clients in defining advanced therapies R&D portfolio and commercial launch strategies
Helping clients on how to leverage and integrate new digital capabilities to achieve best-in-class customer and patient experience
Working with other project members to execute activities within your workstream and developing deliverables that are in scope and exceed client expectations
Building relationships with clients to help Deloitte become a trusted advisor and partner of choice in advanced therapies
Supporting business development efforts and helping to build the NextGen Therapies Consulting practice
Participating in the development of Deloitte's thought leadership in cell and gene therapy execution
The Team
We work with clients to solve their most complex and strategic operational challenges. Our team spans the value chain of advanced therapies from Commercial Operations to Supply Chain and Technology all through orchestrating the treatment journey for our customer and patients. We advise our clients and help them drive operational readiness across functions and regions to prepare for complex advanced therapy launches that are novel, personalized, and requires non-traditional ways of working.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors degree
5+ years of professional experience in the Life Sciences industry
Experience in cell therapy or gene therapy in an industry or academic setting
Experience with supply chain and value chain capabilities
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred
Advanced degree in a scientific discipline
3+ years of experience at a top tier consulting firm focused in Life Sciences
Experience designing customer-facing digital platform capabilities (enrollment, scheduling, case management portals)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,950 to $208,250.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
