Job Description

Want to combine your HR expertise with striving to follow the two great commandments to love God and your neighbor? The Production and Distribution division of the Welfare and Self-Reliance Services department of the Church is seeking an HR Generalist to help support its mission of helping members of the Church receive food and some supplies during their time in need. This rigorously rewarding role is a part of an HR team that partners with farms, food processing plants, distribution network, and bishop storehouses to feed those in need. In this role you will manage essential HR work that includes talent selection, talent management, workforce relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, HR systems, etc. This role potentially includes the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (office/work from home).


Responsibilities

  • You will have the opportunity to build organization and people capabilities in a simple and effective way by providing HR support to employees and missionaries.
  • The best candidates have a solid understanding of core HR work, a passion for contributing to high-performing teams, and a deep desire to cultivate a “welfare heart”.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • At least 4 years industry-related experience
  • Solid knowledge of HR operations
  • Solid Employee Relations Experience
  • Familiarity with best practices of HR functions
  • Compliance minded

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.
