We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, and dressing
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
- Valid Florida Nursing Assistance Certificate
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 0 to 3 years of related experience
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Proficiency in using job-appropriate technology and software applications
Physical Demands
- Extended standing or walking required
- Able to lift objects weighing 21 to 50 pounds
- Able to carry objects weighing 51 to 100 pounds with the use of appropriate devices
- Frequent visual acuity for computer-related tasks
Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations
- Interaction with diverse population including team members, patients, and insurance companies
- Inside and occasional outdoor exposures
- Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other hazards
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
