Position Overview

Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to join our dedicated team. The Major Gifts Officer will play a key role in securing philanthropic support and cultivating relationships with donors to advance the hospital's mission and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to secure major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations
• Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective donors
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and program staff to identify funding opportunities
• Conduct donor research and prepare compelling proposals and presentations
• Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors
• Communicate the hospital's impact and funding needs effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or related field
• Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and meeting fundraising goals
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Passion for the hospital's mission and serving children with special needs
