Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Long Term Care - Housekeeping Aide. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms and common areas
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Stock and maintain supplies needed for cleaning duties
- Follow infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of diseases
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
