- Perform routine cleaning duties, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, in resident rooms, common areas, and administrative offices.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene standards are met.
- Empty trash and replace liners, ensuring waste is disposed of in the appropriate manner.
- Wash windows, walls, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a consistent and efficient cleaning schedule.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial work, ideally in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and products, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and resilience to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors in a professional and respectful manner.
