Summary You will serve as a Deputy Product Manager in the Marine Corps Systems Command of MARCORSYSCOM. Responsibilities You will serve as the Deputy Product Manager for an Integrated Program Team, coordinating the activities of the assigned team members and report to the Product Manager. You will serve as an advisor to diverse, multi-functional acquisition teams responsible for highly complex projects. You will use your management expertise to review, analyze, and evaluate project development, progress, and performance. You will manage requirements/design trade-offs, oversee overall risk, and evaluate acquisition activities for the assigned program. You will identify and defend resource requirements, including funding, manpower, and facilities, for the life-cycle management of the assigned program. You will perform the full range of duties in the product manager's absence, represent them in meetings, convey findings, and prepare and present recommendations to program office officials, the public, and military organizations. You will provide advice and direction on assigned projects, identify problem areas, trends, accomplishments, deficiencies, and imbalances in budgeting, planning, staffing, and execution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensuring programs meet requirements and policies while fulfilling customer needs. Analyzing project development, progress, and performance, coordinating necessary tasks and supporting duties to multi-complex teams. Education N/A Additional Information Control Point 91 This is a Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS 14 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 15 grade step 10 in the broadband. However, this position is covered by a salary control point within the NH-04 broadband and the salary range is $139,395 to 180,063. If your current federal salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched, if applicable. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
