Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Fontaine HVAC & Solar Energy Services Inc. is a renowned provider of HVAC and solar energy solutions located in Lewiston Maine. We are seeking a talented HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our valued clients. You will also be required to troubleshoot and analyze complex issues within HVAC systems and provide top-notch support to ensure the satisfaction of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems faults, and recommend appropriate repair and maintenance actions
• Evaluate the efficiency and safety of HVAC systems and perform required upgrades
• Work with the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service requests
• Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction, and provide insights and expertise for enhancing HVAC system performance
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and appliances, including operation, installation, and repair procedures
• Advanced proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and physically demanding situations
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
