Chicagoland Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented HVAC Service Technician to join our team of trusted experts. We've been providing top-notch HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair services since 2002, and we're looking for a reliable technician to help us continue delivering the best possible service to our clients in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing various types of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at our clients' homes and businesses. Working closely with our customers, you will troubleshoot problems, provide recommendations for repair or replacement, and ensure that every job is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation requirements
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and heat pumps
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency service calls for HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment and systems, including electrical wiring, refrigerant levels, and mechanical components
- Provide cost estimates for repairs, replacements, and upgrades
- Communicate with customers about their HVAC needs and recommend preventative maintenance measures to improve system longevity
- Maintain accurate records of all service calls and equipment repairs
- Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in the HVAC industry and attend training sessions as necessary
