Job Description

Eventide Fargo is seeking a friendly and energetic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee shop and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments through our Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
• Restock inventory and ensure availability of supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, and pastries.
• Assist in the preparation of food items, including sandwiches and pastries.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with sanitation and food handling regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a coffee shop or a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and familiarity with different coffee variations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
